Car crashes into pole in Palermo, one injured

Fear on Lanza di Scalea street in Palermo, due to an accident. A man, around 3 pm, crashed his car into a road sign while driving near the Velodrome, not far from the roundabout. The impact was very violent. The driver of a Volkswagen Polo ended up on the median strip separating the two lanes, most likely due to high speed. The man suffered some minor injuries and was taken to Villa Sofia Hospital for examination, but he is not in serious condition. Investigations are being carried out by municipal police personnel.
