Another road accident in the province of Palermo. In Cinisi, on Corso Umberto I, a scooter, Honda Sh, and a car, a Mercedes, collided. The two boys on the two-wheeler, the 18-year-old driver and the 21-year-old passenger, were the ones who came off worst. The man driving the car was unharmed.

The alarm was raised by residents and motorists. Ambulances arrived at the scene, and the medical staff assisted the two young men and transported them to Villa Sofia hospital in Palermo in critical condition: their conditions are very serious. The 18-year-old boy was admitted for a ruptured thoracic aorta, while the 21-year-old underwent surgery to reduce multiple injuries. They are currently hospitalized at the trauma center.

The carabinieri also arrived at the scene of the accident and conducted all the necessary investigations. The cause of the collision and whether one of the two vehicles made a risky maneuver will have to be determined. Both vehicles were seized for further investigation.
