Capaci worker dies in construction accident in Romania
An Italian worker, Giuseppe Vincenzo Giannone, aged 63, died in a fatal work accident in Romania. He fell from a scaffolding and suffered internal injuries from the impact with the ground. The incident has deeply affected the community of Capaci, where Giannone was known as a hardworking man. In a separate incident, another Sicilian worker, Gaetano Domenico Mastroieni, aged 65, died in Emilia Romagna after being hit by a truck while crossing a logistics area. Both incidents are under investigation to determine the cause and ensure safety measures were in place.
