The alarm in the center of Palermo, where an abandoned suitcase in front of a pharmacy had forced the police to isolate an area near Piazza Politeama, has ended. The suitcase was opened by the police and was found to contain clothes and paper, so there was no need for it to be detonated as per the protocol for suspicious packages.
