Baricco’s “Tucide. Athens against Melos” at Taobuk festival
Alessandro Baricco will also be part of the lineup of the 14th edition of the Taobuk Festival with “Thucydides. Athens against Melos 00”, of which he is the author and director, which will be staged on June 23rd. The artist will be on stage as the narrator, accompanied by actresses Stefania Rocca and Valeria Solarino, who respectively give voice to the Athenians and the Melians. The performance will be accompanied by the 100 Cellos, an ensemble of cellists founded and directed by Enrico Melozzi and Giovanni Sollima, who has also composed the original music.
