An elderly man tripped on a raised cobblestone along Corso Umberto, near the municipal building of Palazzo Ugdulena in Bagheria. Despite previous efforts by the local administration to fix the pavement through an external company, the man fell heavily and suffered a head cut. He was transferred to the emergency room by ambulance for initial treatment, but his condition is not severe. The municipal administration is taking action to have the external company fix the raised cobblestone by tomorrow. In the meantime, the area around the tree where the cobblestone is raised has been cordoned off by the municipal police.
