Avola man caught stealing creams and perfumes, arrested by carabinieri

The carabinieri of the Avola station arrested a 41-year-old man with a criminal record from the area, who was heavily suspected of theft. The man entered a pharmacy in the town center and stole perfumes and pharmaceutical creams from the shelves, hiding them in his jacket, but he was promptly stopped by the military who immediately intervened following a report. The stolen goods, with a total value of about 300 euros, were returned to the owner of the perfumery and the arrested man, after the necessary formalities, was placed under house arrest, as ordered by the judicial authority of Siracusa.
