#Siracusa
The Carabinieri of the Augusta division have started inspecting public establishments and service providers in order to ensure quality standards and compliance with consumer protection regulations. This is particularly important as the seaside village of Brucoli has begun to attract many tourists. During the inspections, conducted by the Augusta police station, the Syracuse labor inspection unit, and the Ragusa anti-counterfeit and health unit, a restaurant was penalized for operating without authorization for its internal video surveillance system, violating workers’ rights, and employing an illegal worker. The total amount of administrative fines imposed exceeded €3,600.
