Ast buses: 30 transfers from Sicily for migrants.

During the closure of the Catania airport this summer due to a fire and the eruption of Mount Etna, the transport company L’Ast has once again provided extraordinary support in transferring migrants to designated locations. Thirty buses were made available by L’Ast, as requested by its sole shareholder, the Sicilian Region. The company expresses gratitude to its employees and operators for their voluntary availability, ensuring that the transfers were carried out without delay. Special thanks are also given to the authorities who supported the operations. L’Ast apologizes for any inconvenience caused but believes that the people of Sicily saw this sacrifice as an act of love towards the less fortunate.
