Arrested for assaulting woman and attacking officers: Fear in Leonforte.

A Tunisian man was arrested by police in Leonforte for theft, attempted robbery, resistance to public officials, and personal injury. He stole groceries from a store on Corso Umberto I and then attacked a woman near the Chiesa Madre, trying to steal her backpack and purse. The police intervened and he also attacked them. It was later discovered that he was in the country illegally and homeless. The Tunisian man has been arrested and taken to prison in Enna.
