Arrest in Catania as man tries to dispose of marijuana and cocaine from balcony.

A 26-year-old man from Paternò was arrested by the financial police of Catania for possession with intent to distribute narcotics. When the police arrived at his home, he tried to get rid of a backpack containing 32 grams of cocaine and 58 grams of marijuana, divided into 58 doses ready for sale, along with 335 euros and a precision scale. The drugs, if sold on the market, would have been worth around 4,000 euros. The young man was judged in a quick trial by the Catania court, which validated the arrest and ordered him to be placed under house arrest.
