“Anne with Red Hair” and her Brothers: the Gathering in Trapani

The “Red Head Sicily” festival, the only festival in Southern Italy for people with red hair, will take place on Saturday, September 2nd at the “Monnalisa beach” in Tre Fontane, Campobello di Mazara. The event aims to bring together children, teenagers, and adults who were born with red hair to share playful moments on the beach. The festival aims to showcase the pride of being a redhead, as many have experienced teasing and discrimination. This year, actor Fabrizio Bracconeri, known for his roles in “Forum” and “I ragazzi della 3C”, will be the testimonial for the event. Radio Azimut Network will be broadcasting live from the beach. The festival will begin at 11 am with greetings from the organizers, the Mayor, and the vice president of the Pro Loco “Costa di Cusa”. Activities will include a photoshoot and games on the beach for children and adults. “Red Head Sicily” has been held for five years, starting in Favignana and now in its second year in Tre Fontane.
