Allevatore in Piana degli Albanesi reported for spreading fire while burning pruning debris.

An agriculturalist from Piana degli Albanesi has been charged with accidental wildfire for setting fire to pruning waste. Due to the high temperatures, the fire spread to the Serra della Pizzuta nature reserve. The perpetrator was identified by regional forest rangers patrolling the area. The responsible individual is a 60-year-old livestock farmer and owns a portion of the forested area that was affected by the fire. Multiple forest ranger teams were deployed to extinguish the fire.
