Alcamo woman attacked at night: “A man attempted to rape me”

A woman in Alcamo, Italy, was allegedly attacked and sexually assaulted by a man in the city center. After being transported to the hospital, the victim, a foreign woman in her forties, recounted the nightmare moments. She managed to fight back but sustained several minor injuries. The incident took place near multiple surveillance cameras, and the videos are currently under investigation. This incident follows the recent gang rape at Palermo’s Foro Italico, where seven Palermitani youths are currently in prison while the victim is in a center in central Italy. Another case in Trapani involved a woman being attacked on a bench near the Mura di Tramontana. The suspect was identified within a few hours.
