Agrigento: Roof Collapses in San Leone and Mother and Newborn Hit – Baby Saved by Rescuers

#Agrigento
In a race against time, a baby was saved after suffering a complete blockage of the airways and turning cyanotic. The incident occurred in San Leone, a coastal town in Agrigento, during a warm summer evening. A canopy from a commercial establishment was blown away by the wind, falling onto seated customers. A breastfeeding mother and her daughter were among those injured. Passersby immediately called an ambulance and helped free the trapped individuals. Fortunately, an emergency ambulance was nearby, and the responders were able to clear the baby’s airways and restore her breathing. The baby is now in stable condition after being transported to the hospital. Police and the Italian military also arrived at the scene.
