Acireale 16-year-old struck by car: hospitalized in serious condition at Cannizzaro

A sixteen-year-old girl was seriously injured in a road accident that occurred late last night in Acireale. She was hit by a car while in Salvatore Vigo Street. Another person who was with her was unharmed. The sixteen-year-old was taken to Cannizzaro Hospital in Catania where she is hospitalized for severe cranial and facial injuries. The incident is under investigation by the carabinieri of the Acireale company.
