Accident on the road to Sciacca, concern for siblings: one in critical condition
The younger brother, four years old, has been extubated and tomorrow he could leave the intensive care unit of the Children’s Hospital. From Di Cristina, there is reassuring news for the youngest of the three siblings of Tunisian origin, who survived the accident last Saturday on the road to Sciacca where the parents, Walid and Zina Moussa, aged 42 and 44 respectively, died instantly after the head-on collision between their Mercedes C-Class and a Toyota Rav 4 driven by Riccardo Pardi, a fifty-one-year-old from Palermo, who also died instantly, near the Giacalone exit.
The bodies of the couple, as soon as possible, will be transported to Tunisia without passing through Ribera, where the family resided: the decision came after several hours of consultations, between Sunday afternoon and yesterday morning, with a representative of the Tunisian consulate and the legal guardian of the children, appointed by the Prosecutor’s Office for Minors.
