Palermo: Stone damages optical shop and cinema window
The attempt to damage the storefront of the Lipari optician on Via XX Settembre in Palermo with a rock failed as the glass resisted. Shortly after, the individual allegedly moved to the Rouge et Noir cinema in Piazza Verdi, where he managed to break through the window and steal several bottles of liquor from the cinema bar. Police officers, called by the owners, began their search and the young man was apprehended near the cinema and taken to the police station. Surveillance footage reportedly captured the two incidents.
