Lampedusa receives new arrivals: 33 Tunisians reach Favaloro pier

Thirty-three Tunisians, including one woman, arrived this morning (September 18) at the Favarolo dock in Lampedusa. The Coast Guard’s Cp302 came to their aid. After a medical assessment, the group will be transferred to the hotspot, where there are currently 1,104 guests. Yesterday, there were seven landings on the island, and a total of 271 migrants arrived. The Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen also visited Lampedusa recently.
