New competition for school principals, call for applications starts in September

New calls for applications have been announced for school principals in Italy. The timelines for the selection process have been provided, indicating imminent changes in the Italian educational administration. The official launch of the applications will happen in the coming days. To participate, applicants will likely need one of the following qualifications: a degree obtained before November 3, 1999; a master’s degree or specialist degree; an academic diploma in art, dance, or music; an old academic diploma from a high school. The selection process for the 2023 competition will include a pre-selection test, a written test, and an oral interview. The pre-selection test will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions based on the subjects covered in the written test. The test will be computer-based, and candidates will have 100 minutes to complete it. The oral interview will have three components, including discussing the exam subjects and problem-solving skills, testing knowledge of common computer tools and technology, and evaluating English language proficiency.
