Tragic accident in Germany: Mother and two children from Palma di Montechiaro hit by SUV

Three citizens of Palma di Montechiaro, Antonella Ribisi, 39 years old, and her two sons, Gabriel and Alessio, aged 6 and 3, were tragically killed in Esslingen, a small town near Stuttgart, Germany. On Tuesday evening, while the mother was accompanying the children to a football match, an Audi Q3 hit them as it climbed onto the sidewalk where the mother was walking with the children. The car was driven by a 54-year-old man from the area, who was injured in the accident. Police investigations are focusing on possible assumptions of drugs or alcohol by the driver, and a medical incident is not excluded.
