Palermo entrepreneur arrested for scamming with Superbonus scheme. VIDEO.

Explaination of the article:

An arrest and a seizure of nearly 3 million euros for a fraud on the Superbonus 110% and Sismabonus 110% in Palermo. The financial police executed the order of the judge for house arrest of an engineer and a construction entrepreneur accused of fraud against the State, issuing false certifications by the authorized technician, issuing invoices for non-existent operations, and improper offsetting of non-existent tax credits. The investigation, started from a citizen’s complaint, revealed that the professional had only started construction works but abruptly suspended them for at least 7 properties in Palermo and Trapani.

The professional entrepreneur, personally and through his companies, obtained contracts and payments by falsely attesting to the progress of the works to the competent offices and tax authorities. The professional attested to having earned a tax credit through false progress statements to the competent institutions, then cashing it at the banks. To generate tax credits, he issued invoices for non-existent operations addressed to unsuspecting clients. Finally, he used these non-existent credits to offset his business tax obligations.

This resulted in the seizure of 7 properties, 7 vehicles, company shares, and other financial assets linked to him.
