Police blitz at Lo Sperone, cocaine, hashish, and crack stash found in uncovered container: one arrest

The police investigations into suspicious activity near a garage in the Sperone district led to the arrest of a 51-year-old man and the seizure of a large quantity of drugs. The police arrested F.S., a man from Palermo, believed to be responsible for the crime of drug trafficking.

Officers from the Brancaccio police station believed that there was a thriving drug trafficking activity around a garage in the Sperone district, managed by F.S. After observing a constant flow of people in the area, the police decided to carry out a search.

During the search of the garage, the officers found keys, one of which opened a nearby basement also owned by F.S. Inside this basement, with the help of Ulla the drug detection dog, the police found 248 doses of hashish, 4 pieces of hashish totaling over 500 grams, a bag containing 925 grams of marijuana buds, 84 doses of cocaine, and packaging materials.

The search was also extended to an electrical cabin on the street level, where F.S. was seen entering previously. Inside, in a metal cabinet, the officers found 5 cylindrical containers with magnets containing 71 doses of crack cocaine.

F.S. was arrested on the spot for drug trafficking, and the arrest was validated by the judge.
