Restoring organs in Sicilian churches: Cultural heritage initiative.

An eight hundred thousand euro financing for the repair and restoration of ancient and artistically valuable musical instruments belonging to moral and ecclesiastical entities in the regional territory. This is provided for in the decree published this morning by the Department of Cultural Heritage containing the list of the 13 churches and parishes that had participated in the call for proposals and recipients of the contribution.

“Thanks to the increased financial resources wanted by the Schifani government – underlines the Minister for Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity, Francesco Paolo Scarpinato – we have been able to satisfy a greater number of requests compared to previous years, ensuring the three-year duration of the interventions. And we are already working on a new call.”
