Catania: Businessman threatened, house burnt and olive trees cut down

Explain to me briefly the following article:

The farmhouse of the agricultural company burned down by flames, two dogs killed and gutted, fifteen olive trees cut down with a chainsaw and gunshots fired in various points of his company. These are the intimidations suffered and reported to the carabinieri by Nino Scarcipuno, an agricultural entrepreneur from Santa Maria di Licodia, in Catania.

“I have never received any threats – explains the farmer speaking to the websites Livesicilia and Meridionews – but I bought some land that I took away from grazing and I noticed that this thing did not please. I hope that the investigations find a way out, the carabinieri are doing their job. It is impossible to live like this. Even less to work”. The other night the scene that presented itself was bloody: the house on fire with the fire extinguished by the intervention of the firefighters, the two dogs, one of which is necessary for the son’s pet therapy, killed and torn apart and the goats chased away.

Yesterday’s latest discovery: the irrigation ditch obstructed and destroyed and one of the fields was literally flooded and will be unusable for at least a few days. “But I don’t stop – underlines Scarcipino – and I trust that we will not be left alone in the face of such events”.
On all the reported episodes, which have found confirmation in investigative circles, the carabinieri of the Santa Maria di Licodia station and the Paternò company are investigating.
