Sicindustria and Unicredit join forces to support businesses in energy transition.

UniCredit and Sicindustria signed today in Palermo a protocol aimed at implementing initiatives to support the member companies in facing the energy transition, pursuing sustainable growth and development goals. The companies will have access to a wide range of financial solutions to support investments for achieving sustainability objectives, including Sustainable Future Financing, Sustainable Minibonds and Basket Bond ESG, Energy Leasing, and Impact Financing for initiatives with social impact goals. UniCredit will also provide training and financial education through its Banking Academy to increase the knowledge of Sicindustria’s member companies on sustainability, ESG topics, and financial culture. The protocol signed today aims to strengthen awareness on sustainability among the associated businesses. Sicindustria’s President, Luigi Rizzolo, emphasized the importance of sustainable practices for long-lasting development, reputation enhancement, and competitiveness in the market, and expressed support for companies already committed to the ecological transition.
