Palermo offices acting as ovens at the Technical Pole: yes to smart working
The four new air conditioners arrived on June 4th and still need to be installed, but the municipal employees at the Technical Center on Via Ausonia in Palermo can’t wait any longer: the rooms are like ovens. This is stated in a note from the Fp Cgil.
“While waiting for the new air conditioners to be installed, the union requested this morning through an email sent to the managers to be able to immediately use smart working for the entire day on days when, like today, and this week, the heat reaches high temperatures, which in the glass building on Via Ausonia become sweltering.” Working from home will be adopted from 12pm until the completion of the work tasks, mitigating the heat risk for employees.
