Siracusa carabinieri frees himself from duty to save injured fifteen-year-old in accident
A off-duty police officer saved the life of a teenager in Syracuse, Italy, after witnessing him crash his bike. The officer, Alessandro Ingemi, performed CPR on the teen and revived him before medical help arrived. The teenager was stabilized and taken to the hospital for further treatment. The boy’s father expressed gratitude to Officer Ingemi and the Carabinieri for their quick actions and support during a scary and stressful time. He called Officer Ingemi an angel who protected his son, and hoped that others would follow his example in life.
