A woman of thirty-two had a nightmare experience during a walk near the cemetery in Monreale. She got lost in the thick vegetation and fell into a ravine around 1pm today, Monday 10 June. The high temperatures and panic prevented her from finding her way back. She was also in an area with poor phone reception, making it difficult to call for help. She managed to contact her family who alerted the authorities. The firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to search for her, along with the local police. The search was complicated by the communication issues but after over an hour, she was found and taken to the hospital for treatment as a precautionary measure.
