Theft of gutters at the cemetery of Misilmeri in Palermo. After cleaning up the nearby cemetery of Belmonte Mezzagno where about 50 copper gutters were stolen, now during the night metal gutters were stolen from the family chapels in the cemetery of Misilmeri in the Roccapalumba district. “A very serious matter,” says Mayor Rosario Rizzolo.
The theft was noticed yesterday by municipal employees: “Someone entered and using a ladder dismantled many of the gutters from the family chapels.” The public employees of the cemetery sector have reported the theft to the carabinieri.
