Three Daspo measures were adopted in recent days by the police chief of Messina, Antonino Gargano, against individuals who took part in a shooting and the assault of a man, on May 18th and 19th, in a bar on Loggia dei Mercanti street, behind the Cathedral. Shortly after the serious incident, in fact, the investigators of the mobile squad were able to identify the alleged protagonists of the event by denouncing them in a state of detention for attempted murder, possession and illegal carrying of a firearm.

The recipients of the Daspo were ordered to refrain from accessing, for periods ranging from 18 to 24 months, certain bars and commercial activities in the city center.
