98-year-old woman dies in Corleone incident; daughter hospitalized in critical condition

In Corleone, Italy, a 98-year-old woman tragically died in a car accident after the Fiat Panda she was traveling in crashed into a tree. The elderly woman, named Caterina Cataldo, was taken to Civico Hospital but passed away during the night. Her 73-year-old daughter, who was also in the car, is currently hospitalized in serious condition. The driver of the car has been released from the hospital. The Carabinieri of Corleone, along with the fire brigade, are investigating the incident.
