60,000 counterfeit toys seized in Catania

Approximately 60,000 articles featuring cartoon characters with illegally reproduced logos were seized in Catania by the finance police in a shop managed by a Chinese near the central railway station. The sale of these items could have earned the owner over 100,000 euros. The owner has been reported for the crime of introducing and trading products with fake signs and receiving stolen goods.
