Six fans were arrested for the clashes at the Padova-Catania match and 8 officers were injured, including four from the Digos and four from the Mobile unit. This was the report from the Padua Police Headquarters regarding the operation at the Euganeo stadium, where violent clashes occurred yesterday evening between the ultras of the two teams and law enforcement. The origin of the disorder was an ultra from Catania who opened the door of the curve, which should have been closed.

The police chief in charge of the operation fared the worst, being hospitalized in intensive care in Padua due to a heart attack.
