A 58-year-old man from Adrano was seriously injured while collecting olives when a branch broke under pressure and he fell from a height of about four meters. He was taken to the hospital in Catania by helicopter. This is another serious incident during the olive harvesting season in Sicily, with two other men recently injured in similar accidents.
