26-year-old arrested for assaulting and robbing Modica, owner of a small farm company.

They went to his agricultural company and pretending to be there to look for a job, they then attacked and robbed him. Nightmarish moments for the elderly owner, threatened and beaten with a stick by three men who acted in the countryside of Modica, where the intervention of the 118 healthcare workers and the police was necessary. The victim, an 85-year-old man, despite the beatings, managed to reach a nearby house from the company, and to raise the alarm. He told the police officers that he had been approached by the three men who had offered to help him with some work. He refused, saying he had no need. At that point, the men, after about thirty minutes, returned, this time with the clear intent to use violence. The man was hit several times, the three men fled with his wallet, leaving him injured, on the ground. The police, based on the descriptions provided by the victim, immediately started searching for the attackers and tracked down one of the three. He is a 26-year-old homeless man with previous offenses for property crimes and drug trafficking. The investigations continue to locate the accomplices.
