22-year-old arrested in Catania for driving around with a gun

The Carabinieri of the Rapid Intervention Unit in Catania arrested a 22-year-old for possession and illegal carrying of a clandestine weapon. He had a 7.65 caliber pistol with a scratched serial number in his car, with one cartridge in the barrel and three others in the magazine. The judge validated the arrest and ordered the precautionary measure of imprisonment. Two other young men, aged 19 and 22, who were with him, were found to be completely unrelated to the incident.
