22 Licata fans receive stadium bans in Ragusa for causing disturbances during the match

The Police Chief of Ragusa, Vincenzo Trombadore, issued a one-year stadium ban (Daspo) for 22 fans of Licata, aged between 16 and 56, including 4 minors, who were involved in disturbances at the “Campo” stadium during the Ragusa-Licata match on December 3rd, valid for the Serie D championship. During the match, away fans set off fireworks and, at the end of the game, a group of them managed to enter the section occupied by Ragusa fans. Only the intervention of law enforcement prevented physical contact between them.

Investigations by the Digos of the Ragusa Police Headquarters, which used videos recorded by the forensics police, have identified the alleged perpetrators of various illicit behaviors, such as the throwing of fireworks and unauthorized crossing of stadium fences. A total of 22 people have been identified and reported to the Ragusa Prosecutor’s Office, and a Daspo (ban) has been issued against them, prohibiting access to sports venues for one year.
