100 candles for Countess Maria Guglielmina Rizzo: it’s party time in Milazzo.

Maria Guglielmina Rizzo, daughter of Admiral Luigi, double gold medalist of the First World War for the heroic exploits in Grado and Premuda linked to the sinkings of the Vien and Santo Stefano, has turned one hundred. The Countess of Grado and Premuda celebrated with relatives, friends, and institutions who wanted to attend the event.

The third child of Luigi, after Giacomo and Giorgio, she inherited the noble title from her father. And even yesterday afternoon, welcoming Mayor Pippo Midili, who was accompanied by Councilor Lydia Russo and who donated a floral bouquet, the commander of the Port Authority, Luca Torcigliani, who brought a message and a tribute from the General Staff of the Navy, showed all her positivity towards life.

Married to Maurizio Bonaccorsi, Countess Maria Mina, as she is affectionately called, had four children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and always maintained a strong relationship with Milazzo, despite having lived for a long time between Genoa and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, for reasons related to her father’s business and her own family ties on her mother’s side (her mother, Giuseppina Marinaz, was from Grado).
