Explain briefly the following article:
“Linea Verde Estate, the Rai1 television program, returns to Sicily with a long stop in the province of Trapani, an opportunity to showcase the territory and its specificities on a national level and to make known its natural beauties, archaeological sites, cuisine, outdoor sports, enogastronomy, and much more. The Tourist District of Western Sicily will support the Linea Verde crew by providing logistical information and directions. The hosts Giuseppe Calabrese and Angela Rafanelli will be engaged in a four-day tour, from tomorrow until Friday. The filming will focus on the areas of Nubia and Paceco, highlighting red garlic, a slow food presidium with unique organoleptic properties, and then showcasing the preparation of ricotta-based sweets. The crew will then move to the Salt Museum of Trapani to talk about the typical Trapanese pesto. They will also visit the archaeological park of Segesta, Makari for a nature walk, Custonaci to visit the Mangiapane cave and meet some artisans, and the Stagnone di Marsala to discover the world of kite surfing. The filming will continue in the areas of Mazara, Gibellina, and Castelvetrano before moving on to Trapani, Torre di Ligny as the starting point for the discovery of the city, and finally to Erice to discover the ancient recipe for convent sweets and typical “genovesi” biscuits.
The two episodes of Linea Verde Estate will air on Rai 1.
Rosalia D’Alì, president of the Tourist District: “Linea Verde has once again chosen to showcase the riches of our territory. It will be an intense journey throughout the province, an important opportunity for visibility to make known its landscapes, enogastronomy, outdoor activities, slow tourism, and much more.” Rosalia D’Alì continues: “In recent months, the District has been strongly committed to broad, strategic projects for the future, which we will soon elaborate on, starting with the transformation from Dmo to Dmc, which will give a decisive boost to tourism thanks to the direct involvement of industry operators.”
