This was announced by the Mimit.
The plan of Pelligra Holding Italia Srl, which won the area with an offer of 8.5 million euros, also includes the hiring of at least 350 former Blutec employees currently in temporary layoff and investments for the redevelopment of the area.
The transfer of ownership, explains Mimit in a statement, “is subject to the finalization of the payment of the entire amount and the authorization of trade unions and local institutions, which will take place in the coming weeks as per the agreed schedule.”
The assignment, adds Mimit, “is part of a broader project to revive the industrial hub of Termini Imerese, which includes, in addition to the redevelopment of the industrial area, the strengthening of the port and the development of an integrated inland port.”
