From an idea of Giacomo Amato between 1686 and 1706 for the nuns of the Discalced Carmelite order who lived in the nearby monastery.

History.
The construction of the church began in 1686 based on a project by the Palermo architect Giacomo Amato.
Inside, the stuccoes by Giuseppe and Procopio Serpotta, respectively brother and son of Giacomo Serpotta made in the early 1700s are of particular value. a nave with communicating side chapels.

Visit times: every day from 8.00 to 11.00 and from 16.30 to 18.00 (Closed Thursday morning). Visits suspended during liturgical actions.
Holy Masses hours: public holidays 08.00-11.00-18.00; weekdays 08.00-18.30. Wednesday 17.00 (Holy Mass for the sick)
