Carabinieri meet Bagheria school students at Bagnera

Yesterday, May 31st, the carabinieri of Bagheria, accompanied by Major Francesco Battaglia and Commander Vincenzo Ruggieri, met all the children of the Bagnera school before the end of the school year to return the courtesy visit that the young students had made by going to the local barracks.
The carabinieri arrived with a lineup of Alfa Giulia cars and mobile radio motorcycles, Renegade Jeep of the station, sabotage-proofing engineers from Palermo with a robot, and the K-9 unit accompanied by the playful Blade, the German shepherd.
All the students, accompanied by their respective teachers, had the opportunity to ask questions and satisfy their curiosity about the services of the various branches of the police force; constantly supervised by the soldiers, they then got on the cars and motorcycles, and above all, they petted the playful Blade.
“The morning of legality – the carabinieri say – is the result not only of a precious collaboration between the local police force and the school principal Caterina Oliveri, assisted by the project coordinator Teacher Francesca Antieri, but also with all the schools in the area, where the carabinieri have constantly held numerous conferences in recent years on deep issues such as bullying and cyberbullying, the conscious use of social media, gender violence, and mafia culture, aware that for a healthy growth based on principles of justice and respect, it is absolutely necessary to network and team up between the various educational entities in the area, and among these, the school-carabinieri partnership is certainly one of the most significant”.
