A 29-year-old man was arrested in Palermo for the illegal possession of a clandestine firearm and related ammunition. Thanks to investigations and the help of a police dog, the officers found a shotgun hidden in the suspect’s bedroom, along with 4 cartridges, 13 additional cartridges, a shotgun grip, a pistol case, and tools for cleaning the weapons. The firearm and ammunition were seized, and the suspect’s arrest was validated with detention in prison. Further investigations are ongoing to determine if and when the shotgun was fired.
