Civil protection has issued a new "orange" weather alert for tomorrow 11 November. For this reason the mayor of Agrigento Calogero Firetto announced the closure of schools for "strong hydrogeological and hydraulic risks due to the foreseen adverse weather conditions ”.
Even the mayor of Canicattì, Ettore Di Ventura, has ordered the closure of the schools.
The phenomenon will be accompanied by showers of strong intensity, frequent electrical activity and strong wind. Citizens are invited to be prudent and to limit their travels and stay away from watercourses in particular: not ours on bridges or along the banks or the banks of a watercourse; do not stay in areas subject to flooding or flooding even in urban areas; do not try to stem the mass of water; move to upper floors.
