Volcano hit by a dinghy, ends up in hospital.

A scuba diver was hit by a boat while in the waters of Gelso, Vulcano. The coast guard sent a boat to assist and the Lieutenant of Lipari, Mario De Bellis, coordinated the mission. The diver’s injuries were determined to be non-serious and they were transferred to the emergency room in Lipari for treatment. Meanwhile, the police launched a search for the boat responsible and once found, the three individuals on board were taken to the police station for questioning. They will be released pending charges. A report will be sent to the prosecutor’s office in Barcellona for further action on the case.
