The works were handed over to the Sofia Costruzioni di Grotte company to build a multipurpose sports facility in Vittoria, in the area of the former concentration camp. The identified area is located between the Italian – Hungarian museum and the football field. The area where it will rise – according to the project drawn up by the municipal technical office on the initiative of the previous municipal administration – includes an area of about 6 thousand square meters. The project involves the construction of a tennis court, a beach volleyball court and a multipurpose soccer field. In addition, a children's play area will be created and the existing tennis court will be renovated. The amount of the work is 408,130.94 euros. The tender, through market disclosure, saw the participation of 35 companies, of which only 23 were admitted to the final stage. The company from Agrigento was awarded the tender by offering a drop of 33.5411%. In practice, the work will be carried out with an amount of 274,475.36 over VAT. The sums come from action 9.6.5. by the Department of Social and Employment Policies Family, Po-Fes funds 2014/2020. The delivery of the works is expected within the month of July. During the summer, the system will be inaugurated and made accessible to the community.
