Villabate transporter robbed of money and cellphone

Two armed bandits robbed a truck driver at gunpoint in Villabate last night in Piazza Figurella. The victim had money and a cell phone taken from him. The driver went to a bar and called the carabinieri who intervened in the area. Investigations are ongoing to identify the robbers. Surveillance camera footage in the area has been obtained to reconstruct what happened and verify the victim’s account. (ANSA)
