The emerging star ready to take the stage at the Green Valley Pop Fest in Sciacca: tomorrow (July 22nd) the live performance by VillaBanks. His real name is Vieri Igor Traxler, but he is now known by everyone by his stage name due to his talent which, in a very short time, helped him build a significant fan base, as well as collaborations with Madame, Rkomi, Guè Pequeno, and most recently Elettra Lamborghini, in the song “Teta”. The rapper has 6 albums and has already collected 7 platinum records, 6 gold records, and 2.5 million monthly listeners on digital platforms.

This is because his music starts as a journey towards the desire to represent various forms of freedom, love for life, and fundamental values that each of us recognizes as such. “Sicily – says Vieri – is one of the few places that I have always called home, it is an immense pleasure to return, to find family, smells, and traditions that are so dear to me.”

“Where does the desire to become a singer come from?” “My passion for music was born with me, since I was very little I already had an instrument in my hand, I played the saxophone and I heard my sister playing the piano. Before her, when I was practically a baby, I also heard my other sister playing the guitar. Let’s say I have it in my blood and in my ears since forever. It came very naturally to me to put the lyrics I wrote into music and sing them.”

“You used to write and sing…” “One of my songs is born from the desire to express something specific or from a creative impulse, which could be, for example, the desire to experiment with a new genre of music. Other times, I challenge myself in writing, saying ‘I would like to write a song in this way or in that other way, in this language or in that other language.’ In this way, a small mosaic of poems set to music is created, which then form albums and projects that make up my discography today.”
