Villa Genuardi will become the sole headquarters of the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage of Agrigento.
The decision was taken by the president of the Region Nello Musumeci, on the occasion of the inspection yesterday in the city of the Temples.
Accompanied by the general manager of the department Sergio Alessandro and the superintendent Michele Benfari, the governor visited the historic structure, highlighting the immediate interventions that must be carried out. The Superintendency will be responsible for the overall redevelopment project – which should be approved by February. Immediately afterwards the tender for the works will be published. There are about three million euros available.
